The club’s Board of Directors unanimously approved a motion for Diamond State Curling Club to join the USWCA (United States Women’s Curling Association) at last night’s board meeting, and to pay the membership fees for any women who want to join USWCA. This membership will cover the club through the 2024-2025 curling season.
If you are interested in registering as a USWCA member, or have questions about USWCA, please contact Megan Massey, our Membership Coordinator, and she will add you to the list of registrants while she works through the process of adding Diamond State to the USWCA membership rolls. [If you already indicated that you were interested in joining by replying to one of my Slack posts, your name should already be on Megan’s list.]
Any women who are interested in playing in the upcoming USWCA All-American one-day bonspiel at Potomac on October 5th – please go ahead and register. We should have all our membership details sorted out before the bonspiel.
