The DSCC Board of Directors decided (at the September 18th, 2024 board meeting) that Diamond State Curling Club would not apply to re-join USA Curling as a member club for the upcoming year (2025).
There are only a few benefits that come from joining USA Curling as a club that might actually benefit DSCC, and some of those same benefits are provided to us because the club is a member of the Grand National Curling Club (GNCC). The board feels that the cost for the club to join USA Curling isn’t the best use of our operating funds at this time.
We expect to review this decision at least annually, and possibly more frequently if circumstances change.
DSCC members should know that they can join USA Curling individually if they choose to do so. Membership information can be found here:
