| March Curling Madness starts in two days! That’s right, this year, it’s Thursday Edition starting on March 6th. From 8:00pm to 10:30pm, we’ll be running the classic Diamond State March league filled with fun themes, games, and prizes! It’s great fun for our established members, and new curlers too! Information: Thursdays, March 6th, 20th, & 27th & April 10th 8:00-10:30pm (April 10th is 8:20 – 10:50) Patriot Ice Center – Olympic Rink $110 ($100 with member discount) Theme Nights  Every night of March Curling Madness has a different theme. Come dressed to the theme and you get a raffle ticket. The winner of the raffle at the end of the league gets a $25 gift certificate to our club store for some cool Diamond State Curling Club apparel. Pajama Party – Week 1 is a pajama party! Come dressed for a good night’s sleep so you can hop in bed as soon as you get home! Superheroes & Villains – Come dressed in costume for Week 2, but no powers on the ice! Game Day Gear – Curling isn’t the only sport out there, come dressed as a fan or player of some other sports ball game in Week 3. Diamond State – As always, Week 4 is for wearing club colors so we can get a great event photo at the end. Don’t have Diamond State Apparel? We’ve got shirts for sale. Just ask someone who looks like they know what they’re talking about, and we’ll dig some out for you. Side Games – There will be plenty of ways to win each week, even if you don’t win your 8 ends on the ice. We’re bringing back the necklace! If you’re shot stone ends up on the button, you get the necklace. Someone else gets on the button after you? You’ve gotta give it up to them. Whoever ends up with the necklace at the end of the night gets a prize! Each week we’ll also have a pool going to guess the total number of points. Get it right, win a prize! We’ll probably implement some other games too, have any fun ideas let us know! Curling – Oh yea, and we’re actually going to be curling on the ice too! We’ll try to set up a bracket style competition to find out who win’s this year’s March Curling Madness. We’ve got room for 32 people in the league for 8 teams, and that’s the easiest type of bracket for our schedule. Sign ups are currently light, so we may have to play the bracket structure by ear.
