New Year League Events and Standings
March 16th is next Sunday, and it’s the finals of the New Year League. If you go to the member portal of the website you’ll see the table in the image below showing the final standings of the league. With all the possible tie break scenarios we could have had, we only ended up with two teams with the same record. The first tie break is total ends won for the whole season. Team Vild and Team Kupchik are tied, Team Vild has a total of 24 ends won and Team Kupchik has a total of 21 ends won. So that puts Vild in the B event and Kupchik in the C event. The matchups are:
A Event (Sheet B) – Grillo v Johnson
B Event (Sheet C) – Hufe v Vild
C Event (Sheet A) – Kupchik v Massey
D Event (Sheet D) – Lappert v Sharp
