Spring Thursday League starts soon!

Spring Sunday league has already started and Spring Thursday league starts April 17th. Thursday League is our standard format, register as an individual, teams will be formed ahead of time, most likely through a draft by the skips. We play a schedule where every team plays every other team once, followed by a finals week at the end. It’s possible a bye week will be scheduled in if we have an odd number of teams, but players can practice or sub for free on their bye week. All skill levels welcome, we just request that you already know how to curl (taking a single intro class counts, that’s how we all started). If you do not have your own equipment, we have club brooms, stabilizers, and sliders available to use. Here’s the information for both leagues:

Spring Thursday League

Immediately following March Curling Madness, we’ll have our 8 week Spring Thursday League. All nights of this league will be held from 6:50 to 9:20pm. It will run from April 17th to June 19th. There will be no league night on June 5th, we will be hosting an intro-to-curl.

Summer Curling Planning

We have the ability to host two leagues this summer, again on Sundays and Thursdays. Summer curling league popularity seems to vary a lot and it’s hard to predict. Please help us out by filling out the survey linked below. It’ll let us know if we can afford to run both leagues or if we should consolidate to one day or the other.

Pro-rated Membership

The second half of our curling year is about to start. Since our membership year renews on October first, if you’re only just now joining us for leagues you can take advantage of our pro-rated membership! Pay just $50 (instead of the full $100) for the remaining half of our curling year and renew as a full member in October. If you haven’t tried a league yet, you can still try one trial league without becoming a member. But membership comes with perks, including a $25 discount to our 8 week member leagues!

See you out on the ice!
