Summer Curling
Diamond State is hosting two summer leagues starting next week! These leagues are open to Diamond State Members, brand new curlers, and members of surrounding GNCC Clubs. We’ve already received interest from members of Bucks, Philly, Potomac, and Pinelands. Sounds like we could have two mini-MACA leagues on our hands! For new curlers, all we ask is that you’ve taken at least an intro class. Check out the league information below, and register today!
Summer Sunday League
The Summer Sunday league is an 8 week league running from June 22nd to August 17th on Sundays from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. There is no curling on July 20th. All skill levels are welcome, even if you’ve only just completed an Intro-to-Curl. If you do not have your own equipment, we have sliders, brooms, and stabilizers you use. The league is $225 for non Diamond State members, members get $25 off. Weather permitting we broomstack in the parking lot after the game, if it’s raining we’ll go to a local bar. League structure will depend on final sign ups.

The Summer Thursday league is an 8 week league running from June 26th to August 21st on Thursdays from 6:50pm to 9:20pm. There is no curling on July 3rd. All skill levels are welcome, even if you’ve only just completed an Intro-to-Curl. If you do not have your own equipment, we have sliders, brooms, and stabilizers you use. The league is $225 for non Diamond State members, members get $25 off. Weather permitting we broomstack in the parking lot after the game, if it’s raining we’ll go to a local bar. Playing as a sub
We know summers are busy for a lot of people. If you really want to play with us but can’t commit to more than a couple games, you are welcome to sign up as a sub. We can’t guarantee there will be openings when you’re available, the best way to secure a spot is to register for the league. But if that’s not an option for you, use the forms below to indicate your availability and how you’d like to be contacted when there’s an opening. If the league isn’t full you’re also welcome to use your sub fee just for practice on the open sheet. Our sub fee is $30, or we sell four packs for $100.
