July 13th Cancellation

The arena is still down to one compressor, and the high on Sunday is forecasted to be in the upper 80s, so we’re once again going to have to cancel a night of Summer Sunday League. I wish I had better news, but all I can tell you for certain is that the new compressor IS onsite at the arena.  The installation schedule is still to be determined.  The ice today (Friday) was covered by a nice sheen of melted water, so unless we want to try hydro-curling, we are out of luck.  As always, once we hear something from the arena we will pass that info along to you.

I will edit the league page on the website again to reduce the total number of days, reduce the price, and extend registration. So when you see an email going out with a discounted rate for the league, don’t worry. The 15 people who have already registered will be given options for reimbursement. I’m going to put off the reimbursement email until the compressor is fixed so we know for sure how many nights will be cancelled.
