Hello DSCC members -in good standing or for bad sitting 😉
Calling All Volunteers: 2026 DSCC 302 Bonspiel
(Working date: Saturday, June 20, 2026)
I’m helping coordinate this year’s DSCC 302 Bonspiel, and like all great curling events, it lives and dies by volunteers.
As some of you painfully remember, last year’s spiel was sidelined by an unforeseen compressor issue (a storyline we’re unfortunately very familiar with again…). Huge thanks to John Grillo for the extensive planning, documentation, and process outlines he created—this foundation will make this year and future years smoother and stronger.
Right now, we’re forming volunteer committees officially branded by me as 302 Teams (like the A-team but BETTER!), and we need you to help get this spiel off the ground and onto the ice (pun absolutely intended).
Whether you want to lead a team, support a team, be on a team, throw money at a team (I’ll be that team), or poke a team with a 39½-foot pole, there’s a role for you. YES YOU!
⇒ DM me on Slack, email me, tell a Board member, send a carrier pigeon, or challenge me to a pile-driver—just let us know how you’d like to help.
A curling club is built on volunteers, and every contribution matters.
(You’re officially BON JOVI—We’re halfway there.)

Thanks for reading my rant. I sincerely hope to hear from so if not all of the 200+ people here…
